Eva laughed and nodded, "Okay got it you like Canada." she said shaking her head and laughing to herself. She was still kicking him and it was making her laugh. "But you know those dice are rigged. I mean no one shouldn't gamble because its addicting and the fact that I am not lucky at all will just make it worse for you." she said smiling a little. That quickly changed when he grabbed her ankle. It made her laugh and she felt a breeze on her foot. "Hey!" she said looking under the table at her bare foot. "Okay that is not fair." she said crossing her arms over her chest.

Yves held up Eva's shoe, examining it with the critcal eye of a doctor surverying his paitent. "Aye, I like Canada...hey, wait. You, unlucky? I don't think I can believe that...why, if you weren't lucky, then why didn't Amir bite you back at the stables? That was good fortune, on your part." He tapped the heel of the young woman's shoe, which he still held in his hand, and smirked. "Not fair? My love, one kick would have done the trick, and yet you did it repeatedly! No...if you persist in such painful activities...I shall tickle you! Yes, you heard me! Beware the fingers of doom!"

Eva looked at him with her eyes narrowed, "Well I meant unlucky at gambling. I think you would lose all your money if I blew on the dice. Yves." she said as she laughed at him. "I already knew I am lucky." she said with a small smile. When he said he would tickle her she frowned now and shifted in her seat bringing her feet up onto the chair and sitting on them with a small smirk. "Now you can't." she said reaching for her shoe.

"Oh, I see...well, then, neither am I. Well...I don't think I am, because I've never been to Vegas in my whole life. No lie." Yves held the shoe just out of Eva's reached, a diabolical plan forming in his mind. "Oh, no, no, no, cheri...you want the shoe, come get the shoe!"
Yves laughed softly, placing the show on the palm of his hand and looking at his date over it's top. Already, the few people in the dining area of Alton River Side were giving the couple odd looks. A few were even snickering behind their hands...they knew who the young man and woman were, oh yes, and they'd certainly have a story to tell in the morning...

Eva looked at the shoe then at the people around them. SHe couldn't help but laugh a little herself. "You know what Yves. I think you are enjoying this way too much." she said reaching for her shoe again. This time getting closer to it without getting up from her chair. "I'm sure you don't want to be the center of the gossipers because you wouldn't give me back my shoe." she said looking at him. "You aren't going to make me beg are you?" she asked with a small smile.

Yves shook his head violently, pressing the show against his chest like a beloved infant. "Oh, I don't care about gossip! Most of it is untrue, right?" That devilish smirked appeared on his full lips once again, and he beckoned to Eva. "Make you beg? Heavens no, dear child...just come a bit closer and you shall see what I'll make you do..."
((The heck? I coulda sworn I'd posted...sorry for the wait. ))

Eva looked at him and got up looking at him. "Give it to me." she said trying to get the shoe from him again. She laughed waiting to see what he would do. Her face was a few inches from his as inched her hand to the shoe by his chest. She wrapped her fingers around the strap and tugged gently.

Yves released the strap, his hands rising upwards to cup Eva's face, anchoring her to her current spot. His fingers were warm against her cheeks as he, too, stood up. "Hmm...I have devised a fitting torture. You can't move for the next twenty seconds..."
The blonde man, still smiling, brought his lips to Eva's...

When their lips touched Eva stiffened her fingers looped around the strap on the shoe. Eva smiled against his lips and leaned into the kiss for as long as he would hold her there. She couldn't help but think she was dreaming. He is kissing me. Oh god he's kissing me. She loved every second of it.

How, exactly, had Yves gained the courage to do attempt this? Becuase he hadn't known he was actually going to do it until the very last second, despite his planning. And, the moment Eva began to kiss him back, he was instantly glad. She tasted sweeter than he'd even imagined, sweeter than any candy he'd ever eaten. The youngest Thornton closed his eyes, his hands slipping from Eva's face so that he could wrap his warm, firm arms around her...
About half the room...women, mostly, but a few men as well...exploded into 'awws' and soft giggles. A few of the couples even smiled and kissed as well.

There were no words to describe how she felt right now. The instant their lips touched it was amazing. When his hands moved from her face and moved around her waist, Eva instantly did the same to him. SHe cupped his face gently and felt her lips part. Maybe she was to into the kiss but when the noise from the other people in the restaurant, Eva felt herself blushing and pulled back from the kiss looking around behind her at all the people watching them. She looked back at Yves, "I think we are the entertainment for the night." she teased moving her hands from his face quickly slipping her shoe back on her foot.

Yves, like Eva, was blushing...but at a far more comical rate. His face felt like it was sizzling hot, and he knew the moment he opened his mouth that whatever words spilled from it would be full of so much stuttering that they'd barely be intellegable. He reached down and took Eva's hand in his own, smiling sheepishly.
"Sorry about that...random impulse. Would...would you like to go before I make a fool of myself even more?"

Eva smiled and looked at him. "If you want to go but I am still hungry." she pouted sitting back down looking around at the people still glancing at them. She smiled and looked back at Yves. "Yoru a good kisser." she said looking at their hands. Why did they fit perfectly in each other.

At the exact same moment Yves opened his mouth to answer, his stomach gave a long, embrassingly loud growl, exclaiming for food to be but into. The blonde man placed a hand on it, his cheeks now a shade somewhere in between crimson and tomato red. And it wasn't all from his stomach...when Eva said that he was a good kisser, he almost started up into nervous giggles right there on the spot.
"I-I-T duh-don't r-r-r-really want t-t-to guh-go yet..." He raised the hand that was not holding Eva's and placed it in front of his mouth. "Oh, th-th-th-thank yuh-you...I huh-huh-haven't had muh-muh-much p-practice yet..."

Evaline looked up when he said he hadn't had much experience. "Well it doesn't show hun." she said with a smile that everyone loved.
